(SOLVED)[UnRaid 7.3.0] Can not find Unraid Connect icon on the top right corner.

Hi Guys,

I want to enable the remote access of my server according to https://connect.myunraid.net/help . But I cannot find the Unraid Connect icon after installing the Connect app, as shown in the figure of the guidelines. The uBlock is disabled.

Doesn't look like you have installed anything.

Install Community Applications plugin then you can use it to install other things, including Unraid Connect.

Looks like you may have opened your server to the internet. Your syslog is flooded with login attempts.

Ah, yes, thank you for your imply. I am currently setting up this server and haven't had a chance to harden its security yet.

Open a terminal window and type:

unraid-api plugins install unraid-api-plugin-connect

Then refresh the GUI; that should get the icon there.

Even a new server shouldn't have syslog flooded with login attempts. Close your router ports.

ahhh, yes, it works. amazing.... thank you!

Just for curious, is this because some necessary components were missed when I installed Unraid Connect via the WebGUI, due to a network failure?

It's an issue with the plugin; sometimes it doesn't install everything correctly.
