I know for ESXi I had to build my own ISO from instructions on internet in order for it to function with ESXi. My unRAID VM on it just uses a virtual switch with E1000 VM nic. I know the Intel 82574L does work in unRAID. Also I don't believe unRAID will utilize a 2nd nic.
June 19, 201214 yr The second NIC must be manually configured. I stand corrected. So if the Intel 82579LM works in unRAID your set.
June 20, 201214 yr If your using ESXi its easier to just get a second nic card as one of the -onboard can be a pain to get working reliably (I gave up). As for unraid support. It should work but as said before need manual config (create a script that runs from the go script at startup) Sent from my SGH-I727R using Tapatalk 2
