The file as downloaded is named: Unraid_USB_Creator-v2.0.11.1-unraid.0-desktop-x86_64.AppImageUpon launching the app, the Title bar of the window shows: Unraid USB Creator v2.0.11.1-unraid.0-dirtyShould I be concerned about the "-dirty" that is seemingly randomly appended? As well, the app never finishes writing the file. It continually displays "Writing...100%" before eventually throwing an error saying the app is not responding.

16 hours ago16 hr trurl, it seems that the appimage is for the linux installer, not Windows, not having an .exe seems fine if that's the goal.As for the rest of the question, I cannot answer. The "dirty" part seems odd, but I don't know linux that well.
13 hours ago13 hr The -dirty suffix refers to the source checkout used to build the application. It does not refer to your USB drive and is not, by itself, a security concern. The application hanging at Writing...100% is not expected. That percentage can be reached before final flushing, post-write processing, unmounting, and ejecting are complete; I've seen it take several minutes in some cases to completely flush. And you should not assume the USB is complete or remove it without safely unmounting it.Please provide your Linux distribution/version, USB model and connection method, and terminal output from the AppImage during the failure. Testing another flash drive connected directly to the computer would also help distinguish an application problem from a stalled USB device.
