Yates07
I have used unraid for about 6 months now and loved it. Unfortunately I never could get it to automatically show up on my network. I had to go to "connect to server" and connect to it each time I turned on my computer. I had to replace my router the other day and now I cannot find my server on there at all. I have an iMac, MacBook Pro, and my router is an Airport Extreme. The iMac and Unraid tower are connected to the router via LAN. I don't know if I ever set it up properly, as I would like it to show up in finder automatically, but now I just really want to be able to connect to it at all, even if I have to go "connect to server" every time. I am running OSX Lion on both computers. Any help to set it up correctly or point me in the right direction would be wonderful. Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment
seanant
What motherboard are you using in your unraid system? Quote Link to comment
pb65
I have the same problem, I have 3 unraidservers, all with identical configerations, including hardware. One shows up all of the time, the other two are impossible to get to show up. This is very frustrating. Quote Link to comment
dgaschk
I have several servers on my LAN. Often they don't all appear in the sidebar but opening the Network directory in the sidebar always shows all of them. The Network directory can also be found by opening the Device item in the sidebar. Quote Link to comment
