NAS Posted June 25, 2008 Share Posted June 25, 2008 Nothing to do with unRAID. Im trying to backup a Debian Stable server to my backup box here. The problem is the versions are so different it fails out with screens of errors. I really dont want to apt pin on the stable box as I need it to be well stable. Anyone suggest any route forward? NAS Posted June 25, 2008 Author Share Posted June 25, 2008 The remote server is Debian Stable with the old version of rdiff-backup and the local box is debian unstable. With versions that match closely everything is seemless but stable is ancient and bombs out spectacularly. Link to comment
