I can get WOL to work if I powerdown using the following :-

 

ifconfig eth0 down; poweroff

 

If I use the powerdown button in the GUI,  WOL doesn't work.  So I figure I need to modify something to include "ifconfig eth0 down" in the script that runs when you press the powerdown button.

 

I tried adding it just before /sbin/poweroff in rc.6 but that doesn't seem to work.

 

Can anyone give me some pointers please?
