October 25, 201213 yr Looks like this person is selling unraid basic pre-installed on a flash. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Embedded-Network-Attached-Storage-NAS-unRAID-Server-on-USB-RAID-Linux-Software-/280977659017?pt=US_Operating_Systems_Software&hash=item416b92d489
October 25, 201213 yr One part of me screams "unfair, Tom should be getting a cut for someone selling his freely available software" The other part says "gee, after seeing all the heartache some people on these forums seem to have installing it properly, maybe paying $25 and having a guaranteed bootable 8GB stick isn't that bad of a deal for some people" Really though, I don't see any place in the ebay listing linking back to lime or explaining that the software is freely available for download, so Tom should probably contact ebay and get the listing taken down.
October 25, 201213 yr Spoofed UUID on a drive with legit key file? It was for the basic version, so basically he bought a 8 GB flashdrive, downloaded the software, and clicked "Make bootable". Essentially paying $25 for a 8 GB flash drive.
October 25, 201213 yr Spoofed UUID on a drive with legit key file? The ebay auction stated very clearly that it only supported 3 drives, so in my opinion the only thing the auction was wrong about was in not having a link to lime, not clearly stating the software is available to download for free, and stating the only thing he was selling was an 8GB stick with the free software properly installed.
