December 30, 201213 yr Are there any decent android apps that can monitor unRAID like iSTAT.. or is someone out there writing some code to do anything close ?
January 6, 201313 yr <-- really tempted to write one. Just dont see the advantage over using your phones web browser..
January 6, 201313 yr because you dont want to open the GUI to internet access - good way to loose the server - its not build for direct access to the internet.... Myk
January 6, 201313 yr Would love to see one too. You wouldn't HAVE to use it remotely, even if it only worked when connected via wifi on the same LAN it would be handy. In fact, if it was created - it would work remotely, if you had a VPN connection setup on your phone/tablet anyway, which I'm sure a few of us do! You wouldn't have to expose the web gui directly to the Internet. A widget or two could be put on a dedicated screen and would be very useful - with just a quick glance and you could see the status of your server - errors, disks spun up, free space etc, rather than finding bookmark, opening, finding appropriate part of page and making it fit the screen. An option to define how often to poll the server for updates and perhaps an button to pause polling would be awesome. Would happily pay for the app if someone made a working one. I just lack the skills needed to create one, or else I would :-) Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
January 6, 201313 yr That's funny i asked myself the same question last week. I really like to see this happen and if it's has a fair price i'm whiling to pay for this app. Who has the skills to create a app?
