REQUEST-unifi controller software for unraid

I now use the Unifi at home as well and would love a plugin for this.

I don't use this, so I don't really have a dog in this hunt, but... from the digging I did just for educational sake, you could easily set this up using the virtualbox plugin that already exists and is fairly well supported. There was a discussion in the unifi support forums that someone had set up a prebuilt virtualbox appliance, all you would need to do is set up virtualbox in unraid, download the appliance, and you should be set. If you can't find the prebuilt appliance, the person that was talking about it just said they set up a CentOS install in virtualbox, and the unifi software installs and runs fine.

I will take a look.

I tried the vb plugin once and had no luck but will try again.

Thanks for the info.

All your hardware except your CPU supports you being able to run ESXi. You may want to look in to getting a Xeon CPU and virtualizing that route.

Just wondering... How do you know what hardware he's running? It's not in his current profile or sig that I could find.

My mistake. I confused his post for the OP which has his hardware in his signature.

Good to know cause I was really confused. haha. I looked at my profile thinking maybe it listed my hardware there.

I don't have a problem with people know what I have but I did upgrade my server and know  I didn't update any info anywhere.

;D
