Joe L.
OK just had the issue happen again. here is the syslog from console before I 'poweroff' server hope this helps. As well I tried that echo 65536 > /proc/sys/vm/min_free_kbytes command, it seems to set the value, but if you powerdown / reboot, you have to re-renter the value, is that correct or should it save that value ? Thx You have to re-enter it every time you reboot. Quote Link to comment
bombz
Thank you, that did not fix the issue, another memtest tonight, and possibly I'll grab 4gb this week. Other then that, just update to the current RC build, and see if that helps MEMTEST completed... 13 passes .... 0 Errors Hm should I order some RAM I wonder ? :-/ Quote Link to comment
bombz
I am not sure how to fix this problem. Could it be the EARS drives needing newer firmware ? Someone had told me to use RED drives over the greens Guess I am going to upgrade to the RC build before swapping out all my drives .... sigh Quote Link to comment
dgaschk
The syslog shows no indication of a problem. Quote Link to comment
jangjong
maybe it's a problem with NIC. did you try a different NIC? Quote Link to comment
