Connecting Unraid to Mac Mini via Ethernet Port w/ Shared Internet?

Featured Replies

I tried searching for this, but it's kind of a difficult problem to explain in easily searchable terms.

Anyhow, I have a Mac Mini that is connected to the wireless network (Airport Extreme) and used as a media PC.  In order to get gigabit ethernet speeds I have my unRAID tower connected directly to my Mac Mini and have turned on "Internet Sharing through Ethernet Port" and my unRAID was auto-assigned to 192.168.2.2 with a subnet mask of 255.255.0.0.  The Mac Mini has a wireless IP of 10.0.1.131 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and I'm able to access my unRAID perfectly fine from the Mac Mini....

Now here's the question:  Is there any way for me to access my unRAID from the other computers in the house that network with the Airport Extreme?  The unRAID isn't showing up in Finder nor is it accessible through 192.168.2.2 or tower.local.

Does anyone else have this setup?  Any help is much appreciated.
