Problem when stopping array... help

Featured Replies

Most of the time now with rc12a, I get the following over and over again when I try stopping the array.

Retry unmounting disk share(s)...Unmounting disks...Retry unmounting disk share(s)...Unmounting disks...Retry unmounting disk share(s)...Unmounting disks...

Any ideas? First time I have seen this is in rc12a

Disable all add on programs. One of them is probably keeping a file open on the array.

As noted above, disable all your add-ons.  Confirm you don't have the issue with "stock" UnRAID.

Then re-enable add-ons one-at-a-time to isolate who the "culprit" is.  Post the details of that here so the author of the offending plug-in/add-on will be aware of the issue.

The only thing I am running is unmenu. I do not think I am running any other add-ons.

Is there a way to tell what i am running in the way of addons?

In unMENU, on the System-Info page, there is a button labeled "Open Files"

Pressing it will list all the open files.  (or directories which are BUSY)  Look for those under /mnt

It could easily be you logging in and changing directory to a disk which will keep it busy. (in which case, log off)

Make sure you don't have any telnet/ssh sessions open to the unraid box either, had the same issue despite stopping all of the addons, once I logged out of the CLI the array stopped successfully.
