Ajaxplorer5 on unRAID5.0

Featured Replies

Managed to get Ajaxplorer up and running but it isn't able to access the /mnt/user folder.

I'm using the simplefeatures webserver plugin.

I've been browsing the forums for days but couldn't find anything that resembles my problem except this posting:

http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=3354.msg235670#msg235670

sgdisk doesn't show any problems or missing libraries.

No problems accessing disk shares.

I also tried using the updated unmenu package from bubbaQ (http://.../bubba/unraidweb-0.1.05-i386-bubba.tgz) which uses an older version of Ajaxplorer and it also had the same issues with accessing the user shares.

Is anyone able to browse their user shares in Ajaxplorer? Can someone show me how it is done, please?

Nobody else having this problem?

I used to use it but after awhile I stopped using it when I found out the largest file you could send was as big as your ram. And on top of that, people said unraid is not really secure and should not be accessible from the web.

I'm so happy that you replied! I was starting to wonder if there was something wrong with my question.

I use ajaxplorer only over local network. My unraid is not accessible over the web.

I'm keen on using ajaxplorer because I want an easy to use file manager that's easily accessible from a web browser. Like the web interface you find on those synology disk stations, you know?

Then I won't need to telnet to the server and use MC.

When you were using it did you also have the same problem as I have when trying to access your mnt/user folders?

With version 5.0 you can browse the server from the standard interface.  If you want to browse a disk just click on the icon next to the drive name.  I you want to browse the user shares just select the shares tab and then click on the same icon next to the share name you want to browse.

The standard interface is very limited. I need to be at least able to move files between folders and rename them and all that. You know what I mean?

I have sabnzbd running on my cache drive. It saves my downloads in a downloads folder on my cache drive. I clean up the download, rename some files, then move the completed downloads to its respective folders.

True.  You are limited to browsing.  But I thought that ("clean up the download, rename some files, then move the completed downloads to its respective folders") was a function of the combo of plugins usually used with sabnzbd?

Yes, sabnzbd could automate the process to some extent but I still need to be able to manually manage my files.

If you haven't tried Ajaxplorer I highly recommend you give it a go. Its like MC with a beautiful webgui.

Would be nice to have this as a plugin.

No mine worked fine i would setup a user and tell it what path to load and everything would be there.
