bombz
I am looking for a way for FORCE DELETE a directory that windows will not allow me to remove off a disk the folder is under disk 11 /mnt/disk11/OLD/ (has approx 20mb in it of files and folders) an old plex index/library folder. I tried to telnet and remove the directory but had no success, is there a way to access and remove it from console? Quote Link to comment
dgaschk
Enter "rm -rf /mnt/disk11/OLD" Quote Link to comment

remotevisitor
The directory you are attempting to remove is called "OLD" but the directory you are attempting to remove with the "rm" Command is a directory called "old". Directory and filenames are case-significant. Therefore try the command suggested by dgaschk which has the directory with the correct case. Quote Link to comment
