Talsit
I'm on 5.0.5 Pro with 20TB total space, 11ish TB free. When I try to move files to my array from the cache drive using mover, I'm getting the No Space Left on Device error. When I move them from my Windows machine to the array the move just errors out. I adjusted the split level on the share (Movies) that I know it isn't working on, made the split level 25, disk to most-free, etc and I'm still getting the error. The GUI says I have 300GB free of 500GB on my cache drive and I do have one disk that is 100% full in my array, I've excluded that disk from my Movie share. I've run the new permissions script (though I've been on version 5 since 3TB drives became reasonably priced). The only addon I had running besides the stock WebGUI was CrashPlan, I can't seem to disable the WebGUI but the syslog should be without CrashPlan installed. Any ideas on what to try? syslog.txt Link to comment
DaleWilliams
Sounds like corrupted file system. From the syslog: Feb 2 20:25:05 Tower kernel: FAT-fs (sda1): Volume was not properly unmounted. Some data may be corrupt. Please run fsck. From your PC, run Chkdsk on the flash. (Disk Utility on a Mac) If that doesn't fix it, then run Reiserfsck on all the data drives. http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=Check_Disk_Filesystems Link to comment
Talsit
I will give that a try. The error has been occurring for a while, I just hadn't noticed because files were building up on the cache drive. Link to comment
Talsit
That didn't work either. I can manually move files in MC but automatic mover still isn't working from cache to the array. After emptying the cache, I can move files from my Windows machine to the cache drive. I think the next step will be to disable the cache on that share. Link to comment
lionelhutz
Did that line DaleWilliams posted from your syslog go away? If that still exists then you'll still have a problem. Link to comment
itimpi
I wonder if the problem is due to file system corruption on one of the drives? It might be worth running reiserfsck checks against each of the drives involved. Link to comment
Talsit
I'll check for the line concerning the flash drive this evening. I ran reiserfsck against the cache and all hard drives with no corrective action required. It wouldn't be impossible that the cache drive is failing, I've had that problem before. Link to comment

Talsit
That looks like where I was trying to move files from a Windows machine to the array. I'm chasing several problems now. I might have a corrupted disk on my Windows machine, all of the directories that I move files from are now showing as corrupt/unreadable, running chkdsk on them HDDs. I've disabled the cache drive for the affected share and files are going on to the array, or appear to be. (Moving from an alternate location to the array). Once chkdsk finishes, I'll re-enable the cache and see what happens. Link to comment
Talsit
Dev/sda1 is still wanting fsck... Without the cache drive things from that share are moving to the array. I used mover on another share with cache drive enabled and didn't have a problem. Link to comment
Talsit
Works again, don't know why... Link to comment
