February 13, 201412 yr I use XBMC for this and a proxy server to cache art for a bit of extra efficiency. Never understood the need for a nfo manager. In my case, I use Ember Media Manager to create the base NFO file and create the fanart background. Then using DVD Profiler by Invelos in conjunction with a VB script I wrote, I update the NFO files with information verified from the movie/case itself such as overview, plot, cast & crew, rating, etc. and to replace the thumbnail with the DVD case cover art.

I like my stuff to look pretty as much as the next person but the only thing I care about is that the DVD cover be correct, the movie infor be close and that I am able to start a trailer.
