For your humble consideration: removeplg

Featured Replies

You shouldn't have to reboot your machine to remove that plugin you installed. Try removeplg.

Release: https://github.com/nicinabox/removeplg/releases/tag/0.1.0

Usage:

Usage: removeplg path/to/plugin.plg

It will:

1. remove any files created by the plg, including slackware packages and assets

2. prompt you if it's about to remove a slackware package (in case other plugins rely on the same package)

Example usage:

root@Tower:~# removeplg dropbox_x64_overbyrn.plg
Removing /boot/config/plugins/dropbox/dropbox.png
Removing /boot/config/plugins/images/device_status.png
Removing /boot/config/plugins/images/new_config.png
Removing /boot/config/plugins/images/information.png
Removing /boot/packages/python-2.7.5-x86_64-1.txz
Are you sure you want to remove python-2.7.5-x86_64-1.txz? Other packages may depend on it. [yN]n

Install with boiler:

boiler install removeplg

A prepackaged version is also available (see Release). Download, place in /boot/extra/, then run installpkg.

Outstanding!  Going to give this a try later!  Thanks, nicinabox!

What is this going to do with files that where "replaced" when it was installed?  Hence the main reason to reboot to get the orig files back....?
