Did not get far in trying to get this installed......Any ideas?

Does anyone know if I were to install libmysqlclient18, will it cause problems with my MariaDB 10.0?

Anyone have any luck getting this to work on 14.04? I'm getting segfaults and an hour or so of searching has provided me with nothing.
