wgstarks Posted May 31, 2014 Share Posted May 31, 2014 I have an external enclosure attached to my server via esata that I plan on using for preclearing new drives. Would like to find out what I need to do to attach/detach external drives. Will hot swapping work ok? Should I shutdown the array first before shutting down the external enclosure?
