mickeykool
I was trying to install dropbox app and i kept getting xml errors related to installplg. Of course I thought this file was related to dropbox so i went into /user/local/sbin/ and rm installplg. Big mistake!! So I have not rebooted the machine yet cuz i know nothing will run w/o this file? Also how can i put this file back in the place. Thanks Link to comment

SSD
Reboot. The main filesystem is in ram and gets rebuilt from bzroot / bzimage every time. People like to complain about it, but running the OS from a.RAM disk does have advantages. I ran the newperms program against my root file system their other day and a simple (actually not so simple under the circumstances) reboot took cater of it! Link to comment
BRiT
As does a simple rescue disc option or a reinstall option. Link to comment
SSD
As does a simple rescue disc option or a reinstall option. Maybe so. But hard to approach the sheer simplicity of a reboot! Link to comment
