August 11, 201411 yr I have shares setup and can see them, how do I change it so I can see what on each disk? I want to move some media around
August 11, 201411 yr If you want to do it locally through putty then just launch MC (midnight commander) and you can mount /mnt/disk1/share on both left and right side (use tab to switch) and move data. If you want to see contents from a Windows machine just mount \\tower\disk1 and you can browse the shares/files on each disk (or you can do it from the GUI - far right side of each disk is a browse icon). If you have any questions about MC there is a WIKI page that details it. http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Transferring_Files_Within_the_unRAID_Server
August 11, 201411 yr Just be sure when you are moving stuff around not to mix and match /mnt/user/share locations and /mnt/disk/share locations. There is a bug with the user shares that can cause you to lose data if you move between the two types. As long as you are moving from disk1 to disk2 or similar, you are fine.
