mg40
Hi All, I recently ungraded to latest stable release from 5.0.4 to 5.0.5 (VM Plugin installed only) This morning I cannot access the web gui anymore (page cannot be displayed) although I can ping my server address. I connected with telnet and Initiated a shutdown command. after restart, web gui is still not accessible. Is there any way to manually restart the web interface ? Or a command to start the array to I could downgrade to 5.0.4 ? Any help would be appreciated ! Thank you Quote Link to comment
mg40
Found this solution in an older post and it worked: 1- log onto server with telnet (putty) 2- key in the following: killall emhttp nohup /usr/local/sbin/emhttp & 3- access web gui Quote Link to comment
trurl
Typically restarting emhttp does not work on the latest versions of unRAID. If it did work for you then I wonder if it was never started on bootup. Maybe you have somehow removed your go file, which is where it gets started on bootup. Quote Link to comment
itimpi
I have found that if you have unMenu installed and call up the default unMenu web page, then trying the stock GUI often starts working. Not quite sure why. Quote Link to comment
