April 10, 200917 yr Seagate 1.5 TB Serial ATA/300, 32MB Buffer Retail Boxed Hard Drive.- ST315005N1A1AS-RK Yes, these are the drives that had a bad firmware version at one point, so you should check the version and upgrade the firmware if needed. Odds are the older drives with the buggy firmware are all out of the pipeline, but you can't be too certain. Highly likely these will have the new firmware already. Good price, retail box with extended 5 year warranty, free shipping... and in stock... It does not get too much better than that. Unfortunately, limit one per household... http://shop2.frys.com/product/5803213?site=sa:Homepage%20Pod:Pod4 Joe L.
April 14, 200917 yr Thanks for the catch. I ordered up another, only room for 3 more BluRay on my current drives
April 20, 200917 yr New egg lowered the price on the OEM drive by $10 and still has free shipping. For those that are loyal to Newegg... $119. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148337 The frys deal still seems better (Retail vs. OEM) but it looks like it's out of stock as of this AM.
April 20, 200917 yr Just to update I got mine from Fry's. Came with version CC1H firware on it. Have it up and running on the array with no problems. Haven't actually copied any data to it yet though.
