Squid
Self explanatory. Currently, when the drive(s) are over the warning threshold or over the critical threshold NO notification is logged, email sent out, etc. Also, maybe an automatic shutdown when the critical level is reached. I suppose that right now we could add the smart attribute to the list of monitored attributes (b13), but I really don't want to see a notification any time a drive changes its temperature. Guess I'll add Dynamix notifications to my overtemperature script. EDIT: This to me is just such glaring oversight for an issue that can potentially take down multiple drives at the same time Link to comment
Squid
Updated my script http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=38185.0 to handle notifications as a (hopefully temporary) workaround for this problem. Link to comment
Squid
Bonienl just posted up a "band-aid" that gives email notifications. Still no shutdown, but at least the notifcations work perfectly. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=38193.msg354039#msg354039 Link to comment
