February 21, 201511 yr So what you really need at this point is to find another DDR2 module you can install so your system has enough memory to run the reiserfsck check. Do you have another PC that uses DDR2 you can cannibalize temporarily? Otherwise, you may want to visit ebay This auction expires in 22 minutes ... but is currently at a very good price: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nanya-2-GB-2X1GB-Desktop-RAM-NT1GT64U8HB0BY-3C-PC2-5300-DDR2-667MHZ-Tested-/191517077796?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c974eb124
February 21, 201511 yr Author Thanks for the advice. Unfortuantely that auction doesn't ship to my location but I am guess you are right and that is my only option left at this point. I fear all my data is gone though since I have rebooted, added, removed, so many times. After the last reboot Reiserfsck hasn't stopped yet so hopeful it might run this time.
February 21, 201511 yr Author OK I got a little farther with reiserfsck this time but now I don't know what to do. root@NAS:~# reiserfsck --check /dev/md9 reiserfsck 3.6.24 Will read-only check consistency of the filesystem on /dev/md9 Will put log info to 'stdout' Do you want to run this program?[N/Yes] (note need to type Yes if you do):Yes ########### reiserfsck --check started at Sat Feb 21 17:05:37 2015 ########### Replaying journal: Done.
