IP tables?? and keeping the Hackers out!!

Hey I've been looking, but I can't seem to find an answer. Does Unraid support iptables? My server is accessible remotely ( so i can log in), but of course its available to anyone who wants to attempt to brute force in. I would like to add some rules to block access from China and the Ukraine. I had 8900 attempted logins in one day alone! They are filling my logs with failed login attempts. Any directions would be appreciated.

Not that I am aware of. Why not close off that port ASAP and install the openVPN app on unRAID itself? That would be so much more secure.

How are you currently accessing your webui?

Proxies behind a web server or directly by opening a port?

Just curious.

as above iptables is not the solution to this a VPN is.

I use Peters open VPN plugin myself.  Find it very useful. I do believe IP tables is baked into unraid now.
