May 15, 201511 yr Hi, I am trying to create a windows 7 VM, i selected the ISO and also downloaded the VirtLO drivers. June 1, 201511 yr Well he doesn't need VT-d to just create a VM, but if he wants to pass through a physical PCI device for direct IO control by the VM, then VT-d is required. The number 1 thing preventing creation of his VM is not having virtualization properly enabled in the BIOS.
