New to unRAID - don't see NIC

Featured Replies

I'm new to unRAID, moving from WHS2011 + FlexRAID. Trying to set up unRAID 6, following the Configuration Tutorial, but don't appear to have a network connection.

I have a Intel EXPI9402PTBLK Pro/1000 PT Dual Gigabit PCIe 8X NIC card in the PCIe slot. I've disabled the motherboard's onboard Realtek NIC.

Where do I need to go from here?

Thanks,

Ari

Try plugging into the other NIC port.

Thank you, I did that a while ago after a forum search. No change.

Plug into one, then the other, nic port on the intel ide nic, no lights, doesn't show up with a dhcp lease in my router.

Plugged back into onboard nic, indicator lights are flashing, have dhcp lease, can log into unRAID dashboard.

Hmm, will chat with Tom this week to see what's going on. Might need to get some more info from you, but for now, you've supplied enough for us to start with.

For me, I just used the on board NIC and then later switched to a motherboard with Intel NICs on board.
