sgibbers17
What is the difference between virbr0 and docker0? When I have my windows vm set to virbr0 I get a IP of 192.168.122.xxx and docker0 gets me an IP of 165.xxx.xxx.xxx. Reading the wiki I want a public bridge so my router can set the IP address but neither give me a IP of 192.168.1.xxx and I find no referance to virbr0 and docker0 in the wiki. Link to comment

If you want a public bridge then you need to set one up under Settings->Network Settings. This is commonly set up with the name 'br0' Link to comment

itimpi
But I am looking for what my VM network settings should be. Set the VM to use br0 for the network and you will get an address issued by the DHCP server on your router. Link to comment

Change it to yes and you should be good to go. Link to comment

bardsleyb
If you are using the PCI e ACS Overide, I am guessing this doesn't work? That is my setup because I am trying to pass a video card through and I cannot change that address from the 192.168.122.XXX address. Link to comment
