[DEFECT] Share status display when there is data in cache drive

Featured Replies

Just like to point out on 6.0.1 (probably other versions before as well)

In the Shares page.

When there is some data on the cache drive as well as the array:

Cache,disk1,2,4,5

wd9AuqEbVFcHwAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==I guess I'm just being OCD, but there should be a space between "Cache," and "disk" as well as "disk" and "1"

As long as we're being OCD, I guess it depends on what you want it to show.

If you are showing what disk shares comprise the user share then it should show:

cache,disk1,2,..

or

cache,disk1,disk2,...  (but this needlessly takes up horizontal space)

This is because the above matches the actual exported name of the share.

If you are showing what disk devices the user share exists on then it should show:

Cache, Disk 1, Disk 2, ..

This is because that's what bonienl decided how device identifiers should show up as  ;)

All true ...  :D

And to follow that philosophy to the letter, when browsing inside a user share the location reference is the actual device, so Cache, Disk 1, etc -- hence my correction (which was easy to do btw).

Either way works for me. (I was just being more OCD with the spaces not matching the other cases  8))
