3rd Party Push Notifications

I suppose this is more of a question than an issue, and I wasn't quite sure where this belonged, so I'm placing it in general. On to the question, I was wondering, is it possible to have a notification pushed when something is written to a specific share (using one of the 3rd party notifiers)?

 

What I'm trying to do is have a local security camera write the file to a specific share, then notify me that something was written to that share. I don't want to have camera internet facing for obvious reasons, and I figured a safer way of being notified would be to do something like this.

 

Anyone have any other ideas?

This isn't built into the product today, but this could be posted as a feature request in the appropriate forum.
