kristisdad
My uBuntu vm says I'm out of space. I allocated 10G and believe it said I could allocate more later if needed...it's needed! I can't find where to allocate more space. I'd tried editing the vm in advanced mode, but I don't see it. Maybe a sign of old age! ~ Dave Quote Link to comment
Leifgg
I used the instructions found here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=43744.msg417775#msg417775 I did get the warning mentioned as well but it worked. My img file was for a Windows VM but that shouldn’t make any difference. I also got a bit surprised when I started my VM again and I couldn’t see any effect on the filesystem until I realized that I needed the edit the partitions in Windows to actually use the space. billington.mark
you should be able to install gparted inside ubuntu to expand the partitions once you've assigned more space. If not, you should be able to boot from a gparted ISO and resize that way. Quote Link to comment
