takkkkkkk Posted January 7, 2016 Share Posted January 7, 2016 I have a laser printer that is attached to the usb on the motherboard, but for some reason no matter what I do, my samsung driver software cannot detect the printer. Is there anything I can do to find out what is preventing it from deletecting the usb? in the VM edit window, I do have the device selected. Quote Link to comment

takkkkkkk Posted January 8, 2016 Author Share Posted January 8, 2016 I was looking into the device manager, and within the USB controller, I see USB Priting Support with the "!" mark on it, when clicked,status shows This device cannot start. (Code 10) Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API. Could this be the cause of the issue?? Quote Link to comment
johnodon Posted January 8, 2016 Share Posted January 8, 2016 Be certain that WIN10 is identifying the printer correctly. I have an older HP Laserjet 5M (network). Windows 10 sees it as another model of printer altogether...not even close. Win8 and Win7 identified it fine. In the end, I have to pick the correct printer from the list after performing a Windows Update. John Quote Link to comment
