video pass through, works great, until I restart the VM, then it just stops.

Just like the title says, I can get video passthrough, works great, until I restart the VM, then it just stops.

I have read a few things I searched out about passing through a bios manually, tried that to disastrous results, I also tried recreating the VM with different BIOS (Q35)

Setup:

Core i5 2400

AsRock Z75 Pro 3

32GB DDR3 RAM

AMD Radeon R260X (Sapphire 2GB)

Windows 10 for the VM, though I have tried Windows 7 in the past

SSD - Cache

3Ware 9650SE Raid with 4 x 2TB WD Red in a raid 10 config

essentially adding the win10 fix to the <acpi> flag. For some strange reason I cannot update the acpi flag at all. I press update after changing it. and then edit xml, and what do you know? its back to the original... Very frustrating. Please help

The only temp fix i found is every time i wanna turn off the vm i have to delete it and paste a custom xml to a new vm using same vdisk. very frustrating process.

Thanks in advance

Kevin
