[email protected]
Guys, Suddenly getting the error message, any idea, what to do? Please see the attached diagnostics tower-diagnostics-20160504-2106.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
At some point there was a write error and unRAID disabled the disk, diagnostics are after a reboot so no way to tell what happened, the disk itself look ok, so you can check/replace cables and try to rebuild to the same disk. Quote Link to comment

JorgeB
It's the only way, to the same or new disk. Quote Link to comment
[email protected]
But i will loose all data right? Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
The disk6 content you're seeing now is from unRAID emulating the disk using all other disks + parity, that same content is what you're going to have after the rebuild. Quote Link to comment
[email protected]
So you are saying i will not loose data even if i rebuild, i am really scared here man Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment
[email protected]
By the way how exactly do i rebuild. Sorry i am a newbie Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
You can loose data if other disk fails during the rebuild, if you have and use a spare disk and the rebuild goes wrong you can still recover data from the "old" disk, so there's less risk of data loss. To use the same disk: http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Troubleshooting#Re-enable_the_drive To use a new disk: http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Replacing_a_Data_Drive Quote Link to comment
