Custom docker run command

Featured Replies

I've done a little googling, tried the extra parameters field in advanced view, and can't get the desired result. How do I alter the docker run command that is issued? I need to add an option in a specific order, and the extra parameters adds the text I need, but in the wrong place in the run command. I looked at the template xml on the flash, but there wasn't anything obvious.

Try adding it after the repository entry.  (but iirc dockerMan may have problems with updates)

A. That worked, thanks!

B. You are right, dockerMan is now looking for the full string including parameters to update, which quite obviously it can't find.

This is not an issue for this specific docker, so I'm good with that for now.

It seems adding a display box in the webgui that shows the proposed docker run command as you update the fields would be quite handy, as would the ability to specify WHERE in the run command your extra parameters show up.

There is a feature request about adding it here :)
