pjneder
Hi folks, I just upgraded my unRaid to Plus and added 2 more data disks from the previous 1 data disk. I am familiar with mc and can run that from PuTTY no problem. My question is regarding how to transfer user shares from disk to disk. All of my content was in user shares on disk1. Let's say I have a user share called "Backups" and I want to move it from disk1 to disk3. If I use mc to move /mnt/disk1/Backups to /mnt/disk3/Backups, will the user share keep up with the move? When do I set the "include" and "exclude" options on the user share (i.e. before or after the move)? Why now that I upgraded from Basic to Plus unRAID do I see /mnt/user and /mnt/user0? Is this due to the security features in Plus? Thanks! Link to comment
lionelhutz
Change the share settings and then move the data. Ensure the data all gets moved and the share on the origional disk is completely gone, directory and all. Peter Link to comment
wholly
/mnt/user0 is the view of the array not including the cache disk (which was enabled in 4.5 for Plus users). Link to comment
