digitalfixer
With so much information now available on the dashboard I'm wondering if it would be possible to change the heat alarm line to disk temp and maybe keep the alarm feature by changing the text colour from green to red. One line would then serve two functions. Kevin. Link to comment
bonienl
Sorry, I don't understand what you want. Link to comment
digitalfixer
Sorry, I don't understand what you want. On the dashboard page under Array Status there is a line showing Heat Alarm. Could this be changed to show Disk Temp instead. If normal temp is displayed as green then it could be changed to the same flashing display that is currently used when a disk is too hot. Kevin. Squid
Bump. Generally, feature req's (and defect reports) don't get responded to as a status until they actually get implemented (if its deemed worthy), or the powers that be want more information (which bonienl did post). Maybe not right, but thats the way it is... Link to comment

If you can't wait it is available thru the Dynamix Bleeding Edge plugin. Link to comment

The ssd I have mounted through UD shows the temperature in the UD tab but not in the dashboard. Kevin. Link to comment

Have a look at the SMART attributes of your Cache devices and see if it reports a temperature attribute. Disks which are outside of the array are not actively monitored by emhttp, hence there is no temperature indication. Link to comment

Yes, it is always possible to read SMART attributes of individual disks (I have a cache pool of 4 devices). Link to comment
digitalfixer
As bonieni said drives outside the array can't report and it turns out my cache ssd's don't report their temperature. Kevin. Link to comment
