rpowers
Hi, I'm not seeing my gpu available for gpu passthrough for my Windows 10 VM. Both the HVM and IOMMU are enabled. I think I have seen where the 7970 has worked for others. 1812
does it show up in the bios of the computer? Quote Link to comment
saarg
The first thing you have to do is to get the card recognized in unraid. It's not in your device list. Are you sure it's working or compatible with your motherboard? Quote Link to comment
rpowers
Well it looks like the the card is compatible with my motherboard and there is definitely power to the card. I'll have to check the bios when I get home I guess. Unfortunately I don't have another card to test the slot or computer to test the card. Quote Link to comment
saarg
Your card is not recognized in unraid, so its either dead or incompatible with you motherboard, or something wrong with the motherboard. Quote Link to comment
rpowers
Ok, well I guess I'll buy myself a cheap Radeon HD 5450 and test. Thanks for the help. Ryan. Quote Link to comment
rpowers
Turns out it was my 7970 card. I installed the 5450 and passed it through along with my usb devices with no issues. Thanks again for the help. Quote Link to comment
