Yup, we already have this in an internal build of 6.3.

Maybe it should be backported to 6.2 series, in one of the next releases, since it's an annoying bug that makes TM backups unstable sometimes.

After discussing internally, we're going to hold off on back-porting this update to Netatalk as its not considered a major bug.  I haven't been able to recreate the TM backup instability issue you mentioned, but will continue to do so going forward.

No, because it won't allow me to restore from scratch. I tried to announce a SMB share via Avahi accordingly to that doc, it's detected but TM says it's not compatible.
