October 5, 20169 yr At this time the latest Intel 10Gbit network drivers do not build with the linux 4.7 kernel. Therefore we reverted back to the in-tree drivers. Those of you using Intel 10Gbit NIC's, please post here if you notice any instability or other issues vs. 6.2 stable release.
February 7, 20179 yr thinking about picking up an intel x550t2 or x540t2 card, does 6.2.x or 6.3.x have drivers that would support it (this thread makes me concern that it doesnt and i cant find any mention on the forums that anyone uses these cards as they are new)?

Both of those Intel NICs (x550t2 and x540t2) look like they're supported in the Linux kernels shipped in 6.2 and 6.3
