October 12, 20169 yr Hi I'm running Broadwell i7 6800k and it supports Turbo boost 3.0 My cpu boost now goes from 3.4Ghz to 3.6Ghz but it supports up to 3.8Ghz with Turbo boost 3.0 Are there any plans of integrating it into unRAID ?
October 12, 20169 yr Nothing to integrate. Intel's Turbo Boost is a processor-based technology -- it boosts the speed when it recognizes CPU demands that would benefit from higher clock speeds. The operating system has nothing to do with this.

October 12, 20169 yr Indeed the "Max 3.0" version does require OS support. http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/processors/000005641.html All previous versions were entirely done in the processor, but this new feature does indeed require an OS driver.
