Blud
Hi everyone, I try to create a Windows 10 VM, but it fails at the beginning of the installation. I try 3 versions. It's always a BSOD and there is different errors : - with windows 10 entreprise : WppRecorder.sys (0xc0000098) - with windows 10 education : PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGE_AREA Winfsf.sys - with windows server 2012 : BSOD without any message I tried different configuration during the VM creating process (HHD auto or manual, VNC or GPU passthrough, RAM size...). I fallow theses videos : Configuring your BIOS, Initial Setup, Disk and User Shares, Enabling VM Management and Installing a Windows VM. I also tried these configuration (I got only 2 disk) : 1 disk for parity, 1 disk on array OR 1 disk on array and 1 disk on cache. I tried to use the Find Common Problems plugin but there is no errors. My two disks are SSD, have you seen similar error with SSD ? Or have you seen theses errors in a particular configuration ? Just for info, i'm on a remote server so I can't change the hardware configuration. Files attached : - diagnostic - XML of my VM - Hardware configuration of my server Thanks a lot ! kode54
Have you tried limiting the VM to exactly one CPU core/thread on cpu 0, only for the duration of the install? Link to comment

Have you tried limiting the VM to exactly one CPU core/thread on cpu 0, only for the duration of the install? I tried with one CPU on cpu 0 and it's the same result... Have you run a memtest? I run a memtest yesterday and no errors.. Any other ideas ? Link to comment

matt_webb
I found changing the install iso to a usb drive helps. Not sure is this would help this problem though. Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk Link to comment
