November 7, 20169 yr So my latest issue is a Kernel Panic. I was seeing weird ATA5 errors in the log. Rebooted. It never came up. Checked it and Kernel Panic. No hardware changes made right before it. I've done each of the following individually. removed 1 add in SATA card (which removed its drives as well) removed the other add in SATA card (which removed its drives as well) removed each hard drive not on an external card. memtest overnight with 0 errors tried booting to safe mode moved the USB drive to a different slot. Next suggestions?
November 7, 20169 yr Author I see that. Perhaps I wasn't clear in the prior post. I can' boot into the Unraid OS. I can't get log files, I can't get SMART reports. I'm on Unraid 6.2 I believe to add that information. I can't use any plugins as I can't boot to the OS. I use Docker, Plex, and some newer (to me at least) plugin finder/helper plugin. I don't recall the name of it. I'm not trying to be Snarky, so please don't take it that way. Thank you.

November 8, 20169 yr Author I realize that, but haven't found any memory lately. It had been booting in just fine, so though it may be better with more it seems unlikely that is the source of the Kernel Panic isn't it? Also, ran a chkdsk on the thumb drive and it's all reporting fine.
