Plex Server

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have installed the Plex Server docker image but I cannot find how I give Plex access to my unraid drives?

I can't see where I configure shares for Plex?

Can anyone please advise?

Thank you

Edit the Plex docker and create paths that map to unRAID shares.

If you have an unRAID movies share for example, create a container path called /movies and map it to a host path of /mnt/user/movies

Repeat for media like photos or TV shows that you may want to access via Plex.

This is done by clicking on the "+Add another path port or variable" link (assuming a 6.2.x version of unRAID) at the bottom of the docker edit page.

The container paths show up in Plex and you just assign one to the corresponding Plex library to access your media.

Please read the first post in the Docker FAQ sticky thread to see the "table of contents" of the rest of that thread. There is a lot there that can help you, and one in particular that will tell you how to help us help you.

Thank you so much that worked brilliant !! !

My other question is I have a separate NAS that already is filled with stuff that I want to keep as is.

Is it possible for me to mount the network share and then share them with the container to use them in plex?
