Notifications for V5?

Featured Replies

I am running a Qnap NAS on unRAID 5.0.6, is there an easy way to setup notifications?

Notifications for what? For some PhAzE plugin (which is the thread you have posted this to)? Or do you mean notifications from unRAID similar to what's available for unRAID V6?

Sorry I wasn't more clear, just email notifications for unRAID events, read failures, drive failures, overheating etc, like what V6 has.

if you want Notifications then you need to be on v6.  They are not a feature of v5.

I split the thread from PhAzE support since it has nothing to do with that.

It was possible to setup email and get some limited notification events by using unMenu and its PKG Manager. As far as I know that should still work in V5.

There is also a Dynamix GUI for V5 that may still be available. I don't recall if it actually had notifications, but it did have a lot of plugins similar to the Dynamix plugins for V6, as well as a plugin to manage those plugins.

You can probably find all this in the Legacy subforums, or just do a search (How to Search sticky linked in my sig).
