December 30, 20169 yr It seems my VM are pulling IP addresses from a virtual network, my home lan is a 192.168.1.xxx while my vm are getting 192.168.223.xxx IP address assigned to them. This is causing an issue trying to direct traffic to them as there appears to be something blocking ssh access to a Linux server. I'm sure there is a work around or a way to allow the VM to get ip addresses assigned from the host network DHCP server? For reference I'm running Unraid 6.1.9 Running basic Unraid dual nic cards but only one in use currently.
December 30, 20169 yr Author Set the network bridge on the VM to be br0 <interface type='bridge'> <mac address='52:54:00:b2:45:46'/> <source bridge='virbr0'/> <-- Just simply change that line and restart the VM? <target dev='vnet0'/> <model type='virtio'/> <alias name='net0'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x02' slot='0x01' function='0x0'/> </interface>
December 30, 20169 yr Author Probably... I've always done it via the UI If i go into the adv settings in my VM update i dont have an option to choose anything other than virbr0, I went into VM manager and checked the default network bridge and only have the virbr0 option as well. Is something missing? I'm also in the middle of a parity check, and waiting to upgrade to unraid OS 6.2.4
December 30, 20169 yr Might be the network settings as a whole are buggered. Wait for the parity check to finish, upgrade to 6.2.4, then if its still not there then delete network.cfg from the config folder on the flash drive and reboot.

Will do thx, Was checking out your plugins, going to have to get them setup and running once i get things working. While poking around my dashboard I noticed the Flash : Log : Docker and the Flash is at 100%, should i be worried? EDIT.. Looks like my flash drive is corrupt, its only showing 64MB not 8GB.. so I need to get that fixed first

Pretty sure in 6.1.9 you had to enable br0 in the network settings, it didn't get created automatically, and you could name it whatever you want.
