February 15, 20179 yr Author Hi, wow, some feedback here, thanks therefore. i have an m2 950pro already and using that as cache drive, switched also the gaming vm to there and yes, performance is definately not worth, rather bether then dedicated ssd shared with 2nd VM. so my setup now is as described #19, just changed the location of the gaming VM to my cache drive, wich is an m2 950pro running pcie x4. also tested a little kodi and live tv and it seems now my drops are gone ... may the RAM change to 2 slots or the move to the cache m2 drive ... nevermind. the change with isolating seems to help while my woman is playing (currently HUSK) and im here ... not feeling anything actually and no drops on the gaming as i can see, so isolcpu and assigning did help in this case, still said that most time half the cpu is alseep may someday we can run that dynamic while the VM´s are running about cache pool, i accidantly tested that at the start but its always a parity then ... as far as i saw that ... so i stayed with my m2950pro as cache now. didnt came much to test now, specially higher performanced games like Tomb Raider ... i ll report again thanks alot again for any tipps and hints adding another m2 pcie x4 costs sata ports ... so not really a option currently. @Akio, same here, no MSI tools working through the VM, but i can live with that
