retro Posted March 25, 2007 Share Posted March 25, 2007 Hello..! I'm about to build an unRaid-server, but wonder if I can use this card that I already have in another computer..? Might save a few $$.. Tried to search but no luck.. Also, I have 4pcs 320GB, 3pcs 500GB and one 300GB-drive, all Seagate and all Sata 300. No problems here I guess..should work..?? I'm going for a Stacker-chassi with the Asus P5LD-VM that people seem happy with. Thanks..! Link to comment
limetech Posted March 27, 2007 Share Posted March 27, 2007 The linux 2.6 kernel change log indicates that the normal Promise driver (sata_promise) does support the TX4310. You want to make sure the card bios is set up for 'jbod' mode. Use latest unRAID OS 4.0-beta and please report back your results. Link to comment
