Forcing Mover to move files to disk

Featured Replies

Hello! I just got my new Unraid server built. I'm moving from WHSv1 to Unraid and I have a few questions.

I've got a cache disk and I'm moving a ton of data to it now since I'm slowly powering down the old server. I looked online for ways to force Mover to move files and all I found were posts from 3+ years ago saying there's a button under "Share Settings". As far as I can tell this button no longer exists. Is there a way to force mover to move the files? Also, are there any issues with me powering down the server and adding new drives before the files have been moved off of the cache?

Thanks! I'm looking forward to making Unraid my new file server.

Settings - Scheduler - Mover Settings - "Move now" button

No issues with leaving files on cache.

the "Move Now" button is also available on the Main Tab which is an easier place to use it from.
